Application of FRP winding process

At present, FRP winding products in the military and civilian applications.

●  FRP storage tank

Storage and transportation of chemical corrosion liquids, such as alkali, salt and acid. The normal steel tank’s service life is very short. However the FRP tanks can prevent oil leakage and protect water source when are underground. The double-walled composite FRP storage tank made by fiber winding process has been widely used in gas stations.

●  FRP pipe

FRP winding pipe is widely used in refinery pipelines, petrochemical anti-corrosion pipelines, water pipelines, natural gas pipelines and other aspects. Because of their high strength, excellent comprehensive performance,that it could achieve efficient industrial production and save comprehensive operating costs.

● FRP pressure vessel

FRP pressure vessels are mostly used in military industry, such as rocket engine housing, deep water external pressure housing and so on. At present, the application of FRP winding process on solid rocket motor housing has corresponding standard specifications.
